Sheila Watercott serves as a MN Regional Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drug Prevention Coordinator (RPC) in the 7 county Metro Region. She has over 15 years experience coordinating community projects focused on health and safety. Prior to taking this role, she was a Community Health Educator and Project Coordinator in Little Falls and Morrison County. She has worked with community partners to achieve outcomes in reducing youth substance use, in growing awareness of effective substance use prevention strategies, and in growing knowledge of the harms of youth substance use, including the use of marijuana, alcohol, commercial tobacco products, and prescription drugs.

Region 7 Host Site
The Region 7 RPC is hosted by the Association for Nonsmokers – MN (ANSR) in Saint Paul. Founded in 1973, ANSR is dedicated to improving the health of all Minnesotans with a focus on prevention of disease. ANSR utilizes the full range of tools to achieve that goal including advocacy, public policy, education, training, and technical assistance. The organization is responsible for establishing the Ramsey Tobacco Coalition and building programs such as Live Smoke-Free, Tobacco-Free Youth Recreation, Project WATCH, and Tobacco-Free Campus. www.ansrmn.org
