Phillip Huerta is the Southeast MN Regional Prevention Coordinator. He is a Certified Prevention Professional (CPP) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Phil obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling, both from Winona State University. He has experience with leading adult and youth coalitions in Winona County starting in 2015, working with other federal and state prevention grants, and planning initiatives at the regional and state level. Phil also enjoys trail running, canoeing, and fishing.

The Region 6 RPC is hosted by the Parenting Resource Center in Austin MN, a non-profit organization serving Mower and Freeborn Counties in Minnesota. The mission of the Parenting Resource Center is to provide resources, services and prevention education to promote healthy and safe lifestyles for families. The PRC is available to all families, with targeted services to specific populations that include single and divorced parents, low-income families, families challenged with language and cultural barriers, and families whose children have disabilities. www.prc-austinmn.org
